Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression & Declaration Size Chart

Every upload specification this site covers, in one chart: the exact pixel dimensions and KB limits for photographs, signatures, thumb impressions and handwritten declarations across SSC, IBPS, SBI, NEET, FPSC, PPSC and CNIC-related uploads — and for every row, the free tool that makes that exact file.

📅 Last reviewed: 29 October 2026. Specifications are compiled from the official notifications and upload instructions of these exams and portals. Where published sources conflict — it happens, and FPSC is a known case — the row is marked Typically instead of pretending certainty. Your own notification always wins.

How to read the marks: Standard = a stable specification, unchanged across recent cycles. Typically = the figure recent notifications use; it can change in the next cycle, so confirm it in yours.

Why this chart exists

Ask three websites for the FPSC photo size and you may get three answers. Exam specifications change between cycles, old pages are never updated, and tool sites copy each other. This chart is our attempt to do it properly: one page, maintained, with a visible review date, honest marks where a figure is only “typical”, and a standing rule printed at the top — your notification wins. Every figure links to the tool preset that produces it, so the chart and the tools can never silently drift apart: if a specification changes, both change together.

Spot a figure your notification states differently? Trust your notification for your application — and please mention it via the contact page so the next review can correct the chart for everyone after you. Coaching institutes, academies and photocopy shops are welcome to print and share this chart with credit to Tools Website.

Frequently asked questions

Why do different websites show different sizes for the same exam?

Because specifications genuinely change between recruitment cycles, and many sites copy old figures from each other without checking. FPSC's photo limit is a known example — you will find both “under 20 KB” and “under 30 KB” published. This chart marks every figure as either a stable standard specification or “typically” (the figure recent notifications use, which can change). When sources conflict, your own current notification is the only authority — and this chart says so rather than pretending certainty.

My notification shows a different size than this chart. Which is right?

Your notification — always. Exam bodies adjust specifications between cycles, and the document issued for YOUR exam cycle governs YOUR application. Use this chart to find the right tool and understand the pattern, then set the tool to your notification's exact figures (every tool here has a Custom option). If you spot a difference, telling us via the contact page helps keep the chart accurate for the next candidate.

How often is this chart updated?

The chart is reviewed whenever a covered exam opens a new recruitment cycle, and the review date is printed at the top of the page. It was last reviewed on 29 October 2026. Specifications that have been stable across many cycles are marked “Standard”; figures from recent notifications that may change are marked “Typically”.

My exam or portal is not in the chart. What should I do?

Read the upload instructions in your notification or portal for three numbers — pixel dimensions, minimum KB and maximum KB — then use the Photo & Signature Resizer's Custom preset (or the compress and PDF tools' custom targets) to make exactly that file. The tools accept any dimensions and any KB band, so an unlisted exam is a settings question, not a dead end.
