Resize Signature to 10KB

The tool below is preset for portals that ask for a signature under 10 KB and nothing more: exactly 140 × 60 pixels, at most 10 KB, no minimum. Add your signature photo, crop it tight, and download.

A ceiling, not a band — and why that is simpler

Plenty of application portals, university admission forms and job sites ask for a signature “below 10 KB” and set no minimum at all. That makes this the friendliest signature rule there is: anything at or under 10 KB passes the size check, so the tool never needs to pad a small file upward the way band-based exams require. What still matters is the shape and the clarity. This page keeps the output at 140 × 60 pixels — the signature dimensions SSC and IBPS publish and the size most portals are built to display — and searches for the highest JPEG quality that fits under the 10 KB ceiling, so your strokes stay dark and sharp rather than being crushed by a generic compressor.

The one thing that decides quality is your crop. A signature photographed from across the desk carries a pageful of white paper into the file; resized, the strokes end up tiny and faint. Fill the locked frame with the signature itself, leaving only a slim white margin, and the same 10 KB buys you a bold, legible result. And double-check your notification before uploading: if it actually specifies a band such as 10–20 KB — as SSC and IBPS do — a file from this page would fall below the minimum, and you should use the 20KB version instead.

Frequently asked questions

My form says “signature under 10 KB” but gives no pixel size. Which dimensions should I use?

140 × 60 pixels — the signature dimensions SSC and IBPS publish, and the size portals most commonly expect. The tool on this page keeps those dimensions and guarantees the file is at most 10 KB. If your notification does list its own dimensions, use the Custom preset on the main Signature Resizer page instead.

Will squeezing my signature under 10 KB make it blurry?

No — not with a properly cropped signature. A tight crop of dark strokes on white paper is a very simple image and usually fits under 10 KB at high JPEG quality. The tool searches for the highest quality that fits the limit, and the result panel shows the exact size before you download. Cropping away spare white paper first is what protects the quality.

My exam actually needs the signature between 10 KB and 20 KB. Is this the right page?

No — that is the SSC / IBPS band, and a file under 10 KB would be rejected by it. Use the Resize Signature to 20KB page, which is preset to land inside 10–20 KB and pads the file invisibly if your signature picture alone comes out below the minimum.
